Bio: Gloria Totten

Gloria A. Totten is President of Progressive Majority, the premier candidate recruitment organization that works to elect progressive champions at the state and local levels. Gloria served as Political Director for NARAL from 1996-2001, Executive Director for Maryland NARAL from 1993-1996, and as a political and community organizer in her home state of Minnesota. Gloria is chair of the board of the Ballot Initiative Strategy Center, a director for Advocates for Youth, and an Advisory Committee Member for the Women’s Information Network, the Drum Major Institute Scholars Program and Wellstone Action. She was named a “Rising Star of Politics” in 2002 by Campaigns & Elections magazine.
