MobileActive08
Session: Self-Organized/Open Space Session: An Interactive Funder Roundtable
Description
Mobile innovations are abounding with donors and funders supporting projects across issue areas and geographic locations. At MobileActive08, a group of funders will discuss:
* What is the state of the field of mobiles for social impact from their point of view?
* What is in place in terms of technologies, knowledge, communities, results? What is missing?
* Where are the key opportunities for investments?
* Where are the main challenges in supporting mobile innovations for social impact?
* And what are each of you participating personally most excited about?
This round table will be interactive and lively and we hope for maximum audience interaction to unravel some of the possibilities and challenges of jumpstarting, scaling, and supporting mobiles in social and economic development work.
