Session: mPedigree: Mobile Solutions Against Drug Counterfeiting
Description
Counterfeit drugs are a leading cause of death in many developing countries. mPedigree developed an anti-counterfeit tool for drugs that provides mobile authentication.
We will feature key results from our project in Ghana, showcasing the active use of drug authentication. Participants will be able to try out the service. We will also show results from a client-intercept survey regarding cellular phones, and will feature value added services in anti-counterfeit ventures.
