Session: The Power of Mobile Group Communication: Project Zumbido
Description
Project Zumbido was a pilot project that connected HIV/AIDS patients in Mexico with one another in a small mobile social network using SMS. We will present the project and some of the key lessons learned. We will also discuss a applications in other areas than health for group communications and the current obstacles in group communication and mobile phones for social change.
