Session: The Humanitarian Technology Challenge: In Search of Innovative Solutions
Description
This mini talk will focus on an initiative called the Humanitarian Technology Challenge. The Challenge is a programme developed to find innovative wireless solutions to help transform the way the world's toughest challenges are addressed. The Challenge follows a bottom up approach - the first objective is to gain an understanding from humanitarian workers in the field as their existing needs and then with technology experts will drive the design of sustainable solutions meeting the needs.
