The 1st AVIATION CO2 conference will be held on September 8-10, 2008 in Budapest, Hungary. The event will address the most current policy and technology related issues in the aviation industry, and aims to focus on significant solutions of Sustainable Transport.

In spite of continuous technological development, aviation remains a substantial contributor to climate change through different emissions. Although the aviation industry is not covered by the Kyoto Protocol, certain restrictive measures are expected to be introduced in the future.

The increasing demand for mobility is the driving engine of continuous development and capacity improvement. In the forthcoming years an unprecedented need will dominate for technical development and the introduction of new technologies.
