The conference will be held on the island of San Servolo (Venice)

site of the Venice International University, Italy.

The 3-day meeting (21- 23 August, 2008) will feature symposia,

individual presentations of papers and posters, and plenary lectures.



In the past, the conference was held in Aberdeen (1988), Plymouth

(1992), London (1996), Durham (2000), and Leuven (2004).

The conference intends to bring together researchers working in

different domains of the psychology of thinking and reasoning.
Therefore, submissions for symposia, oral and poster presentations

of original work in any area of the psychology of thinking and

reasoning were invited.
