This is the third conference in the series on "Innovative Dynamic Studies of Materials at the Nanoscale" sponsored by Engineering Conferences International. This conference will take place at the Hotel Hyundai in Gyeong-ju, Korea from June 29 to July 4, 2008. Previous conferences in the series were held in Hanoi (Vietnam) in 2004 and in Okinawa (Japan) in 2006.

With the increasing importance and unique properties of nano-materials, it is recognized that dynamic means of studying their assembly, synthesis, and behavior are required. Because the dimensions involved are at the nano-scale, it is clear that highly innovative approaches are necessary to obtain insight and understanding. Oftentimes, the procedures adopted in one field are unknown in another: accordingly, the synergism and indeed enlightenment provided by this type of conference goes well beyond the remarkable achievements in any one discipline.
