The fourth European Identity conference ,,Net-ID 2008 - Identity, Trust,
Privacy and Security in Europe", is scheduled for March 3-4, 2008. After the
conferences 2005-2007 in Germany (Cologne and Berlin), the next Net-ID will
take place at the Ramada Plaza Hotel, Basel, Switzerland on invitation of
the swiss "Year of computer sciences".

The chairman Dr. Hellmuth Broda, CTO Global Government Strategy, Sun
Microsystems, also spokesperson for the Liberty Alliance, together with the
experts in the advisory committee are searching for high- ranking speakers
of international origin to report about the topics of Identity, Trust,
Privacy and Security. The conference should provide an overview about the
current concepts, methods and experiences in Identity Management that are
discussed in government and industry at present. This year the focus is set
on eGovernment projects and solutions but also industry subjects and case
studys are of big interest. All speeches will be held in English.

As it is typical for the german organizer of security and privacy events
